HUMBOLDT PENGUIN NATIONAL RESERVE

Duration: Four Days Three Nights

Time of year: Between november and march

Day 1 We meet in la Serena city, transfer to Punta de Choros. In trucks 4x4 we visit the south side of Punta de Choros, set up camp in a private beach, time for relax, program presentation, welcome dinner, end of the day.

Day 2 Breakfast, transfer by boat to visit choros island and damas island, possible opportunity of sighting dolphins. Back to the continent , lunch, in the afternoon we prepare our kayaks to do sea kayaking activities in the coastal border or tim e for relax in the beach, dinner, end of the day.

Day 3 Breakfast, transfer by tracks 4x4 to the northern side of the Reserve to visit el apolillado beach, Carizalillo cove and Chañaral de Aceituno cove, transfer by boat to visit Chañaral island, possible opportunity of sighting whales, back to camp, dinner, end of the day.

Day 4 Breakfast, sea kayaking activities in the morning in the coastal border or time for relax in the beach, lunch, transfer to La Serena City. End of the program.

Note: Needs basic personal equipment.

Note: The program can be modified at any moment due to changes in the condition of the sea state or any other situation that affects the integrity of the group. If we are on the mainland and we cannot cross due to the evaluation of the conditions carried out by our guide, we will wait until the conditions improve. This may include a change of the condition of the sea after staying at the Damas island, which could mean that we have to stay on the island a little longer. These situations cannot be predicted and are out of our control so they are not a reason for a refund.
