“Responsible travel to areas that conserves the environment and improves the well being of the local people”
TIES, International Ecotourism Society

3 bottom line issues that define our efforts to be as eco friendly as possible They take into consideration:

Environment: we strive to provide travel opportunities that minimises negative environmental impacts and make positive contributions to the conservation of biodiversity, wilderness, natural and human heritage. Where travellers and locals learn and share.

Social/cultural: Travel, appreciate, and respect local and diverse cultures and traditions.

Economic: generate a network and conditions for financial benefits for the host community and that operates on the principles of fair trade.

flecha How we Do It

Tequirque Policy and goals:

- Train and employ local guides, suppliers and operators.
- Maintain small group size to limit social and environmental impacts.
- Operate with Leave No Trace (LNT) travel ethics.
- Visit National Parks, UNESCO World Heritage sites.
- Support local communities by visiting local markets and restaurants.

Tequirque believes that we as travellers, and as operators, we must accept responsibilities for our actions, attitudes and impacts through right decision. We can make a positive contribution and be part of the solution rather than the problem.
