Description: From your hotel we will drive east of La Serena towards the valley of the Elqui River for close to 120 kilometers until we reach the foothills of the Andes, the town of Colorado at 1690 meter above sea level. From here we will hike up the valley of the Cochiguaz river that will surprise us with its beauty full landscape and its wildlife. Our destination is 14 km up valley: a landlocked Andean freshwater lagoon at 2980 meter above sea level. Here will have lunch and time to enjoy the surroundings. After the rest and recovering our energy levels, we begin our descent out to our transfer vehicles that will take us back to your hotel. End of services.
